    Hi everyone,

I hope I've done this correctly
I'm looking a taking this turtle as the guy who's advertising says he's had it three months and couldn't be bothered looking after her anymore.

But I noticed this Shell damage.
I thought maybe attacked by a larger turtle but he says its by itself in the tank.
    Or
    Dropped.
I did ask flat out but he says nothing's happened.
Anyone know what it would be or thoughts?

    Thank you

    Hi Kirsten,

The turtle hasn't been dropped or bitten by another turtle. It just hasn't had the proper diet and enough UVB from frequently being 'dry-docked' outdoors under natural sunlight. Once those old dead scutes have been shed properly the turtle will look brand new.

OK thanks Craig. From the photo it just looked weird to me. I haven't been able to see her face to face yet.

    Thanks for your thoughts.
