    I can't understand why journalists keep getting it wrong when it comes to Australian Freshwater Turtles.

    Is it a lack of professionalism or is it because they just don't care?

    Either it has been incorrectly identified or the journalist has decided to use a photo of an Eastern snake-necked turtle, not a Murray River turtle and assumed we were all dumb and wouldn't know the difference. Apart from that Murray River turtles shouldn't be dumped into the wild where they don't belong.
